For those currently in San Diego and those abroad who want to help, here are a few great ways to help support our awesome local businesses.
Have a favorite place in town and know you won’t be able to visit in the near future? Consider purchasing a gift card to use when the time is right. Square has created a hub, Give & Get Local, to help you search out local businesses offering gift cards.
You don’t have to miss out on having a great restaurant meal prepared for you. Many eateries are still offering take out and delivery options, so pick up the phone or log on to your favorite spot’s website to place an order. For those in California, local breweries are sending their award-winning craft beer and cider to your front door to enjoy in the comfort of your own home. If you’re currently in San Diego, six-packs can be delivered, or you can opt for curbside or to-go pickup.
Did you know that San Diego is also home to more than 140 award-winning wineries? Help support them by ordering bottles delivered from wineries like Bernardo Winery, which is offering reduced shipping, or pick up a bottle to go at Gianni Buonomo Vintners in Ocean Beach. Carruth Cellars’ tasting rooms are offering local bread and cheese boards to go with their wines for pick up or online orders.
